En su segundo concierto, y acompañada por el Orfeón Donostiarra, la formación alemana abordará un programa que rememora la historia de la orquesta. Por un lado, una de las obras más conocidas de Mendelssohn, que versa sobre la reforma protestante en el siglo XVI y, por otro la célebre obra coral de Brahms, que fue estrenada en su forma definitiva por la Gewandhausorchester.
